Annette Wollwert-Goerens (alto) studied piano, voice and opera
performance and obtained
her diplôme supérieur de chant at the
Conservatoire de musique
d'Esch/Alzette. She has since pursued her studies via a series of
international courses and masterclasses.
Annette is much in demand as a soloist in Luxembourg and elsewhere. Since 1995 she has performed in a series of productions with the Théâtre National du Luxembourg, with which she toured Germany and Sweden. She can be heard frequently in in opera, oratorio, cantatas and spiritual works in Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium and France and has a wide repertoire which includes such major works as Mozart's Coronation Mass, Requiem and Vesperae Solennes de Confessore, Bach's St. Matthew Passion and St. John Passion and Christmas Oratorio and Vivaldi's Stabat Mater and Gloria. When not appearing as a soloist or with Intermedii, Annette also finds the time to be a member of the Ensemble Vocal du Luxembourg and to teach singing and music theory.
Intermedii is delighted to count at least one eminent
Luxembourg artist amongst its ranks;
without Annette's solo contributions our
renderings of Jos Kinzé's beautiful Nu looss et an dir stëll
gin and the Luxembourgish carol An der grousser helger Nuecht would
